Join this course to discover the many benefits of Fear Free℠ veterinary visits, and reduce the stress that you, your team members, and your anxious, frightened, or difficult-to-handle patients feel.
Through lecture complemented by video and live animal demonstrations and by performing hands-on live-animal training techniques, you’ll learn how to make veterinary visits, examinations, procedures, and hospitalizations easier for everyone by using appropriate patient interaction strategies, gentle handling, and behavior modification and management techniques. You’ll also discover how to incorporate environmental enrichment tactics for optimal veterinary care in the hospital and at home.

Offsite Event Information
The labs marked as being offsite will be held at Maple Woods Community College. Shuttle buses will depart 30 minutes before the indicated start time from the shuttle stop at 14th Street outside Lobby 1500 (lower level). The shuttle will return 30 minutes after the indicated end time.
